COME AND TRY LITTLE ATHLETICS!

If your new and you've got an athlete who you think would love Little Athletics, but your not completely convinced its the sport for you, Come and Try at one of our Little Athletics Centres!

Little Athletics provides an opportunity for kids to participate in athletics in a fun and family friendly environment. Did you know that athletics skills are the basis for every other sport? Run, Jump and Throw!
There are so many reasons to join Little Athletics -
• Try a variety of different events each week
• Make new friends
• Improve physical fitness and wellbeing
• Achieve personal bests and improve your skills
 

What is Little Athletics?

Little Athletics develops children of all abilities by promoting positive attitudes and a healthy lifestyle through family and community involvement in athletic related activities. It is a uniquely Australian sport for children aged 5 – 15 years.

It is the sport of track & field athletics with events specially modified to suit the ages and abilities of children. A range of running, jumping, throwing and walking events are conducted.

Little Athletics is not as much about winning, as it is about having fun, making friends and getting families involved in healthy activities. Emphasis is placed on participation and personal improvement and recognises and caters for children of all abilities.

If you are interested in the upcoming Summer Season, families are able to register for a 2 week Come & Try period at most centres.
