New CEO for Coles Little Athletics Australia

The Board of Coles Little Athletics Australia is delighted to announce the appointment of experienced and respected sports executive Myles Foreman as the new Chief Executive Officer of Coles Little Athletics Australia.

When announcing the appointment Coles Little Athletics Australia President Sherrie Boulter said: “Myles had been appointed following a competitive selection process and will bring extensive experience across a broad range of complex stakeholder and participant industries including hospitality, entertainment and sports”.

“At a significant time in the development of our sport Myles will bring a deep understanding and commitment to building strong relationships and trust across all sectors of our sport having led national, state and club sports organisations”. Said Sherrie Boulter

He joined Racing Information Services Australia (RISA) in June 2006 in the newly created role of Chief Executive Officer. With the merger of RISA and the Australian Racing Board (ARB) in April 2015, Myles assumed the role of Operations Chief Executive Officer for newly formed Racing Australia and most recently has held the role of CEO.

Prior to 2006 Myles spent ten years at Ticketmaster in a range of roles including Operations Manager, Chief Information Officer, Ticketmaster International Operations Manager Australasia, General Manager - ticketmaster.com.au and Head of Markets and Development for Australia and New Zealand. Prior to Ticketmaster, Myles spent seven years with Rydges Hotels & Resorts in a range of roles within hotels across Australia before moving to head office in the role of General Manager IT for the hotel group.

In addition to his time leading the national sporting body of Racing Australia, Myles spent nine years on the Board of the state sporting body Baseball Victoria, including six as State President. During this time, he led a strategic operational and financial restructure of the organisation building strong links with the national sporting body and the Australian Baseball League. Myles continues to also have a strong focus and involvement in grassroots sport as President of a local Baseball Club which ensures he continues to have a strong appreciation and focus on volunteers as the engine of sport.

Whilst Myles does not commence his role with Coles Little Athletics Australia until 27 June 2022, he has already begun familiarising himself with the sport of Little Athletics and beginning to meet and engage with members of the Little Athletics community across Australia.
