LAA Hall Of Fame Inductee's head Team Australia

15 Former Little Athletics Athletes, have been selected from a group of 39 athletes to represent Australia at the World Para Athletics Championships, to be held in Paris from 8th to 27th of July 2023.

This Australian Team will be headed by none other than our former little athletes; reigning World Champion and LAA Hall of Fame Inductee James Turner, LAA Hall of Fame Inductee Rheed McCracken & reigning World Champion and Coles Little Athletics Ambassador Jaryd Clifford.

The World Para Athletics Championship runs every four years as the standalone event showcasing the world's best para athletes. Providing a stage for established and emerging athletes to display their talents, with many athletes utilizing this event before heading into the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games.

NB: The team list includes events that athletes have been selected for as well as additional events athletes will contest after consultation with Athletics Australia

Men (9)

  • Angus Hincksman (Mid Coast SA) - Men's T38 400m & 800m
  • Corey Anderson (Port Hacking NSW) - Men's T38 Javelin
  • Jackson Hamilton (UWA WA) - Men's F13 Javelin
  • James Turner (Foster Tuncurry NSW) - Men's T36 100m & 400m
  • Jaryd Clifford (Diamond Valley VIC) - Men's T12 1500m & 5000m
  • Jaydon Page (Ginninderra ACT) - Men's T47 100m
  • Reece Langdon (Goulburn Mulwaree ACT) - Men's T38 1500m
  • Rheed McCracken (West Bundaberg QLD) - Men's T34 100m, 400m & 800m
  • Sam Carter (Warrnambool VIC) - Men's T54 100m & 400m

  • Ella Hose (Ringwood VIC) - Women's F37 Shot Put & Discus
  • Mali Lovell (Manly Warringah NSW) - Women's T36 100m & 200m
  • Rhiannon Clarke (Joondalup WA) - Women's T38 100m, 200m & 400m
  • Samantha Schmidt (West Bundaberg QLD) - Women's F38 Discus
  • Sarah Edmiston (Rockingham WA) - Women's F44 Discus
  • Sarah Walsh (Helensburgh NSW) - Women's T64 Long Jump
