Mia Scerri is an Australian heptathlete who has represented Australia internationally, including at the World U20 Championships in Peru, where she placed 4th, and the World University Games, where she finished 12th. She also claimed the Oceania U20 heptathlon title in 2022. A rising talent in multi-events, Mia draws inspiration from world champion heptathlete Katarina Johnson-Thompson for her resilience and determination.

Mia began her Little Athletics journey at Sandringham Little Athletics Centre at just five years old, encouraged by her sister Bianca. She trains under Ralph Newton at Sandringham Athletics Track and QSAC. Her advice to Little Athletes is: “Always have fun, challenge yourself, and give every event your best effort.”
