New National Competition and Education Manager for Coles Little Athletics Australia

Coles Little Athletics Australia is delighted to announce the appointment of experienced and respected Little Athletics administrator Shane Bertrand as the new National Competition & Education Manager of Coles Little Athletics Australia.

When announcing the appointment Coles Little Athletics Australia CEO Myles Foreman said: “At an important time in the development of our sport nationally Shane brings 20 years’ experience in Little Athletics and Athletics across all levels of our sport. Shane will play a key role in helping to ensure the Coles Little Athletics Australia organisation consults and delivers value and outcomes back to athletes, parents, coaches, officials, volunteers, centres and governing bodies nationally.”

Shane has spent the last 15 years employed with Little Athletics Victoria as the Competition & Education Manager, Interim CEO and General Manager – Competition & Education.  Shane also has extensive experience as a coach and official at all levels from Little Athletics, School Sport Victoria, Athletics Victoria and Athletics Australia.

“Creating opportunities and development programs to assist athletes throughout the athlete pathway, along with coach and officials’ development has been a major focus and passion of mine over the years. I look forward to the opportunity to Improving the competition experience for all stakeholders, at all levels” Shane Bertrand said.

Shane will commence with Coles Little Athletics Australia on 25 July 2022.
